Rosary
Rosary
Rosaries are beads strung on a thread or knots tied to a dense thread, often connected into a ring. By sorting through these beads (knots), it is easier for a person to keep his mind focused on a mantra or prayer, not to succumb to drowsiness and not to go astray in counting mantras or prayers when they are read according to certain rules. The word "rosary" comes from the Old Russian verb "honor", i.e. read, count.
Wearing a rosary reminds a person of the need for "continuous prayer," as the gospel says. After all, often in the worldly bustle we forget to pray during the day, and the rosary on the wrist reminds us of this.
Moving in a circle, a person offers his prayer to God, approaches spiritual joy, improving and purifying himself. The circle is a symbol of infinity, and the rosary is a symbol of a person's spiritual path, which never ends.
